Our Story: A Family Mission to Raise Standards in Care
Onyx Enterprise began as a vision shared between a mother and her son—both driven by a passion to make a meaningful impact in healthcare. With 35 years of clinical and managerial experience under her nursing belt, Mum had seen first-hand the growing need for high-quality, hands-on training for frontline healthcare staff. Her son, equipped with a strong business mindset and a deep respect for the work his mother had done, saw the opportunity to turn that vision into something real.
Together, they combined knowledge, skills, and heart to form Onyx Enterprise—a training company built on shared values of integrity, compassion, and excellence. What started as an idea around the kitchen table quickly grew into a national initiative, offering professional healthcare training to nursing homes, universities, GP surgeries, healthcare staffing agencies ,home care providers and clinics across the UK.
Their bond, rooted in trust and purpose, became the foundation of the business. With Mum leading on clinical insight and course development, and her son focused on operations and growth, Onyx Enterprise has become more than a company—it’s a family-led commitment to raising the standard of care through education.
And this is just the beginning.

Mrs. Ladan Nayebi
Lead Trainer
Our lead trainer brings over 35 years of hands-on clinical experience across a wide range of healthcare settings, including intensive care, community care, and complex needs environments. With a deep understanding of both frontline healthcare and staff development, she has dedicated much of her career to delivering training, mentoring colleagues, and promoting clinical excellence in care delivery.
Her qualifications include a Registered Nursing Degree, alongside specialist training in tracheostomy care, suctioning, mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive), cough assist, respiratory emergencies, oxygenation, and PEG/JEJ (gastrostomy and jejunostomy) care. She also holds certifications in clinical education, safeguarding, infection prevention, and CPR instruction.
Her passion lies in empowering healthcare professionals with the confidence, competence, and knowledge needed to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
